Wezep – Madrid, 27 May 2026, Plukon Food Group B.V. (Plukon) has reached an agreement for the 100% acquisition of Avícola Moraleja S.A. (Avimosa), a well-established company in the Spanish poultry industry with core production facilities and operations in the regions of Madrid and Toledo.
Avimosa has more than a century of experience in the Spanish poultry industry and has evolved from its origins in the Madrid region into a fully integrated poultry company. Its activities cover the entire value chain, including feed production, hatching, farming, and processing, ensuring high standards of traceability and food safety. With its main corporate and processing site in Moraleja de Enmedio (Madrid), the group employs over 250 people and generated revenues of €56 million in 2025.
Avimosa is known for its high-quality standards and reliability, reflected in long-standing relationships with its customers. The group supplies fresh poultry, eggs, and specialized products to modern retail, traditional trade, and the foodservice channel. It was also one of the first companies in its region to obtain the Welfair™ Animal Welfare certification.
