Plukon publishes sustainability report 2025

Plukon Food Group has published its Sustainability Report 2025, titled Fresh Impact, Fresh Future. The report highlights the progress made in 2025 and the steps Plukon is taking towards its 2030 ambitions.

In a year marked by growth and increasing complexity, Plukon strengthened its position across Europe. This includes the acquisition of Vega Insiders in the Netherlands and Hidalgo in Spain, further expanding both its alternative protein activities and its international footprint.

At the same time, Plukon made concrete progress on its sustainability priorities. A key milestone was the official approval of its Science Based Targets, confirming that the company’s climate pathway is aligned with the latest scientific insights.

Plukon also continues to drive impact through collaboration across its value chain. A strong example is the development of a low carbon soy chain together with partners, demonstrating how joint initiatives can contribute to reducing the footprint of products.

Across its countries, this progress is visible in everyday practice. From renewable energy generation at production sites to social initiatives and local environmental projects, sustainability is increasingly embedded in daily operations.

The report is structured according to Plukon’s ESG approach, covering Environment, Social and Governance as well as entity specific topics. It provides insights into performance on key areas such as climate, water, food safety, employee wellbeing, and animal welfare.
