The accredited Plukon Food Group Laboratory conducts microbiological, chemical and storage life research for Plukon Food Group companies, hatcheries and poultry farms in the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, France and Poland. The laboratory plays an important role in preventing, tracing and eradicating campylobacter, salmonella and listeria.
While many other companies operating in the food industry outsource their lab operations, Plukon recognises the value of operating our own lab. We maintain direct lines of communication and can act quickly in the event of positive test results. An automated reporting system ensures that analysis results can quickly be accessed.
The lab works closely with its partners, including Wageningen University & Research, as well as serving De KuikenaeR, hatcheries, poultry farmers and adjacent industries.
